Job summary

Drax Group at Cruachan Power Station in Scotland is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across maintenance, engineering and technical services.

You will develop maintenance strategies, lead planned and outage work, manage budgets, drive safety, and deliver performance improvements while engaging with stakeholders.

This role requires a degree in engineering, hydro experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree-level technical qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading maintenance/engineering at hydro power sites.
• Strong knowledge of risk-based maintenance approaches.
• NEBOSH or equivalent desirable.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across maintenance, engineering and technical services.
• Develop and deliver maintenance strategies to ensure plant integrity and availability.
• Lead planned, reactive and outage maintenance and capital projects.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets and contract interfaces.
• Drive safety, governance and continuous improvement across the site.
