Miller’s Vanguard in the United Kingdom is seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to join our workshop-based team focused on the repair, refurbishment, and assembly of hydraulic components.

You will inspect, refurbish, and test components, read drawings, and work with hoses and crimping equipment in a Monday–Friday schedule. We value safety, quality, and teamwork in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with hydraulic systems and components.
• Strong mechanical fitting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with hose crimping equipment (desirable).
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to health & safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, workshop-based environment with a focus on the repair, refurbishment, and assembly of hydraulic components. Working Monday – Friday – 8 am until 5 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, strip down, and refurbish hydraulic rams to industry standards
• Manufacture and assemble new hydraulic hoses to specifications
• Pressure test and quality check all refurbished and new components
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
