Job summary
Recruit 12 Limited is seeking a Hydraulics Design Engineer in Cambridgeshire for a permanent, full-time position. You will design, develop and specify hydraulic systems, produce schematics and calculations, and support the full lifecycle from concept through installation, working closely with production and procurement.
You should have proven hydraulic design experience, strong problem-solving skills and a degree in Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineering or equivalent, with a commercially minded
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hydraulic system design, development or similar fluid power role.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, circuits and fluid power principles.
- Able to produce hydraulic schematics, drawings and specifications.
- Experience with installation, testing and fault diagnosis of hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and specify hydraulic systems and components to meet project requirements and standards.
- Produce and interpret hydraulic schematics, drawings and specifications.
- Conduct hydraulic system calculations and component selection for performance and reliability.
- Support projects through full lifecycle from concept to installation.
- Collaborate with production, procurement and supply chain to ensure cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
- Provide hands-on technical support during assembly, commissioning and fault-finding.
