Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Workshop Machinist for a permanent, Monday–Friday role in Braintree. You will repair hydraulic rams and cylinders, strip and rebuild components, and test finished work as part of expanding the company’s workshop capabilities.

In this hands-on position, you will operate manual lathes and other workshop machinery, perform welding, order parts, and communicate with customers. Overtime is available in a growing, reputable firm.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing hydraulic components.
• Hands-on workshop experience with hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to operate manual lathes and workshop machinery.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbish and test hydraulic rams/cylinders.
• Manual machining, including lathes, drills and workshop equipment.
• Welding and general mechanical repair work.
• Oversee workshop activities and liaise with customers.
