Job summary

Honeywell Hymatic in Redditch is seeking a Service & Repair Technician to strip, inspect, assemble and test complex hydraulic manifolds, reading drawings and test specifications while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in everything you do.

The role provides 37 hours per week: Mon to Thu 08:00–17:00, Fri 08:00–12:00, with overtime paid at a premium for additional hours. Full right to work in the UK and a Level 3 mechanical engineering qualification (or equivalent) are required.

Qualifications

• Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) or relevant experience with high-pressure systems.
• Excel – Formula, lookups
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially data handling in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and/or inspect components, or products in accordance with drawings or other specification requirements
• Work effectively as an individual or as a team member to achieve the required quality, delivery and cost performance necessary to enable the business to satisfy customer orders
• Maintain full records for each part of the process you are involved in
• On completion of the product testing, assist the team to determine the success of the test
• If testing has failed, your role would include being able to aid in the diagnosis of failure modes, potentially related to the test equipment or the product, and identify next steps
