Job summary

Heroux-Devtek in Runcorn is seeking an Assembly Technician to build and strip hydraulic units, perform inspections and fault finding. You will work to engineering drawings, CMMS, and operation instructions while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Assembly Fitter in the aviation industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulics systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Building, testing, and inspection of both routine and complex mechanical hydraulic systems.
• Fit and assemble of sub-assembly parts and components.
• Identifying and repairing mechanical issues.
• Reading engineering drawings and working with CMMS and operation instructions.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and HSE standards.
