Job summary

Edwards Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Pressman in Chesterfield to join the production team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. The role requires hydraulic press and production experience, with a move to permanent after 12 weeks.

You will work on hydraulic presses, producing silicone materials and conducting quality checks. Shifts include Day or Night with 48-hour paid weeks, and a potential pay increase and bonuses upon permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a hydraulic press.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and quality control skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hydraulic press safely and efficiently.
• Manufacture silicone materials to the required specifications.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Pack finished orders ready for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow production procedures and health & safety requirements.
