Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Hydraulic Modelling Lead to join our Water Engineering division. The role is flexible with UK travel, offering 37.5 hours per week and potential hours flexibility.

You will lead hydraulic modelling activities across clean and wastewater projects, delivering design excellence and client satisfaction. You will shape a growth plan for modelling, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with water clients and internal teams to drive innovation and quality within Kier's

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the regulated water sector with client and design relationships.
• Extensive expertise using modelling packages for design and optioneering in clean and wastewater.
• Chartered (CEng) with a relevant engineering degree.
• Experience growing high performing design/build teams and leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic modelling activities to deliver design excellence and client satisfaction.
• Shape growth plan for hydraulic modelling with Head of Water.
• Provide technical leadership and participate in bid teams.
• Coordinate with water companies and internal teams for technical excellence.
• Identify innovation opportunities and coordinate resourcing with capability leads.
