Job summary

Kier Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Hydraulic Modeller to join Kier Design, with nationwide scope. The role offers a 40-hour week and flexible hours where possible, with a salary starting point yet to be disclosed.

As part of the Hydraulic Modelling team you will support design excellence in water engineering, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within an integrated design and build model.

• Chartered CEng or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body.

• Liaising with internal clients to provide technical excellence on projects.
• Supporting a hydraulic modelling growth plan for water capability in coordination with Head of Water.
• Delivering hydraulic modelling tasks ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction.
• Providing technical leadership to ensure design excellence.
• Identifying innovation opportunities.

Job description

We're looking for a Hydraulic Modeller to join our Kier Design team based in Nationwide within the water sector. Kier Design are a highly regarded Tier 1 Contractor, with a 750 plus strong design consultancy team, recognised as a Top 30 employer on Glassdoor.

• Experienced in working within the water sector
• Technically capable in both clean and wastewater projects with an understanding of water company and industry standards
• Able to collaborate effectively with diverse multi-disciplinary teams to deliver client objectives
• Holding a degree in an appropriate discipline
• Chartered CEng, or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body

What will you be responsible for?

As a Hydraulic Modeller, you'll be working within the Hydraulic Modelling team, supporting them in delivering design excellence in water engineering. You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team working on some of the best water projects within a fully integrated design and build delivery model.
