Job summary

Osprey Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking a hands-on hydraulics engineer in the United Kingdom to build, install and modify hydraulic systems and components with a focus on manual pipe bending, forming, and fitting.

You will build, commission and operate hydraulic test rigs, attend customer sites for installation and commissioning, diagnose faults and provide practical technical support and training to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build, commission and operate hydraulic test rigs.
• Support the development and improvement of new and existing products.
• Select and install hydraulic components, pipework and associated equipment.
• Carry out testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and implement practical solutions.
• Attend customer sites for installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting.
• Provide practical technical support and training to customers and colleagues.
• Work with engineering, production, service and commercial teams to deliver projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, quality, manufacturability and serviceability
