Based in Bradford, this permanent Hydraulic Fitter role suits a mechanically minded person keen to develop specialist skills. Working full time within a well-established engineering workshop, the successful candidate will assemble and build hydraulic components, using hand tools and basic fitting techniques. Full training is provided, so applicants need only some prior fitting experience and a willingness to learn. Starting pay is £13.50 per hour, rising by roughly £1 per hour after three months, with a salary of up to £28,000 annually. Overtime is available at time and one-third. Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Opportunity

The business specialises in the service, repair and overhaul of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and transmissions , serving equipment used across a wide range of industries. Initially, you will learn the strip-down, inspection and rebuild process of hydraulic units. As your knowledge develops, you will receive further training on the testing, fault-finding and diagnostics side of the operation.
