Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Build Technician / Semi-Skilled Fitter in Bradford for a full-time, permanent role. The job involves assembling hydraulic components, using hand tools and basic fitting techniques, with full training provided and progression into hydraulic testing.

Starting pay is £13.50 per hour, increasing after three months, with an annual salary up to £28,000 and overtime available at time-and-a-third. A supportive workshop environment and long-term career paths are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical fitting knowledge.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Understanding of engineering drawings (desirable).
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Strip and rebuild hydraulic pumps and components.
• Inspect parts for wear and faults; ensure quality.
• Safely use hand and power tools to spec.
