Job summary

AMF Recruitment Ltd in Bradford is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a permanent role at Euroway Industrial. You will dismantle and reassemble hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and transmissions, maintaining high quality and accuracy in assembly.

You will read drawings, diagnose faults, and report findings. You’ll use hand tools and participate in testing within the test team, while keeping to a 40-hour week with potential for flexibility and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanical fitter in manufacturing assembly.
• Ability to read drawings and diagnose faults.
• Experience with hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and transmissions.
• Willingness to work in a team and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

MECHANICAL FITTER

Bradford - Euroway Industrial

PERMANENT

Days - Monday to Friday

Our client, a well established family owned business, is looking to recruit a well versed mechanical fitter to join their team.

With an emphasis on team work and quality of life, they are after a mechanical fitter with the right attitude and flexibility, someone who wants to take pride in their work and not just be a cog in the wheel of a large corporate.

Ideal candidates for the Assembly Technician will be able to dismantle and are-assemble hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and transmissions, you will be given expert training and once trained, you will work in the test team, and as a test technician, you will ensure that all products are tested to the standards required and will only go back to the customer in A1 condition.

You will be able to use a variety of hand tools and have a background in manufacturing assembly work, a background in engineering will also be favourable.

You will be able to read drawings, inspect and diagnose faults and report on your diagnosis, a small amount of computer work is required, mainly emails and opening drawings.

This is a permanent role where you will work a standard 40 hour week.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm can be flexible, but nice early finishes
