Job summary

First Military Recruitment are seeking a Hydraulic Engineer in Dungannon, NI, for a role paying £15 - £15.50 per hour plus bonus and overtime. The position welcomes ex-military applicants and offers a hands-on opportunity in a ground support equipment environment.

You will assemble and test hydraulics, read engineering drawings, and work with the design team to implement improvements while meeting production targets. ISO 9001 compliance and health and safety procedures are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as Hydraulic Fitter and fitting hydraulics in vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Sound knowledge of hydraulic systems and components (cylinders, valves, pumps, motors).
• Willingness to work in a team and adapt to production targets.
• Aware of ISO 9001 and health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build ground support equipment using mechanical skills.
• Test products, set and test flows and pressures.
• Collaborate with product development to implement improvements.
• Work to set production targets.
• Move production parts safely.
• Develop continuous improvement as part of a team.
• Comply with site rules, health and safety, and ISO 9001.
• Maintain clean and tidy work area.
