Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer - Hydraulics in Gateshead to join a growing consultancy working on water and wastewater infrastructure. You\'ll combine hydraulic design, modelling and analysis with practical engineering solutions in a collaborative environment.

The role offers salary between £42,000 and £58,000, with discretionary bonus, pension, 25 days\' holiday and support for professional development and Chartership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in hydraulic design or analysis.
• Understanding of pipelines, drainage networks and water infrastructure.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling and design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commitment to professional development and Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Undertake hydraulic design, modelling and analysis
• Support water, wastewater, pipeline and drainage network projects
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation
• Interpret modelling results and engineering data to develop practical solutions
• Work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Ensure designs comply with BMS, CDM and relevant industry standards
• Support project delivery and communicate with clients and stakeholders
