Job summary

CRA Legal is recruiting experienced Probate Solicitors, Legal Executives or Probate Fee Earners for a hybrid role across Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol or Stratford-upon-Avon. You will manage your own probate caseload from start to finish in a supportive, technology-enabled team.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours, a salary range of £40,000 to £65,000 DOE, and benefits including generous holidays, pension contributions, annual bonus, private healthcare and ongoing study support.

Qualifications

• Experience as Probate Solicitor, Legal Executive or Probate Fee Earner.
• Strong Probate and Estate Administration experience.

The Role

You’ll join an established specialist Probate team and manage your own Estate Administration caseload from instruction through to completion.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing Probate cases from start to finish
• Handling estates of varying complexity
• Advising executors and beneficiaries
• Managing Estate Administration matters
• Communicating with clients by telephone and email
• Maintaining accurate case records
• Using modern case management technology
• Working collaboratively with specialist colleagues
• Providing excellent client care
• Mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate

Administrative support is provided, allowing you to focus more of your time on legal work and client relationships.

A modern approach to Probate

You’ll ideally have experience managing your own Probate or Estate Administration caseload and be comfortable taking responsibility for matters from instruction through to completion.

You’ll need:

• Strong Probate and Estate Administration experience
• Excellent client-care skills
• Good organisational and caseload-management abilities
• Confidence working independently from home
• Strong IT and case-management skills
• A collaborative approach

More experienced lawyers may also have opportunities to mentor and develop junior colleagues.
