Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and working knowledge of PHP.
• Experience building custom themes and using page builders.
• Strong grasp of responsive design, web performance and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and build WordPress websites from concept through deployment.
• Translate wireframes and content into responsive, accessible pages.
• Develop and customise WordPress themes using HTML, CSS and PHP.
• Configure plugins to meet requirements without over-engineering.
• Ensure websites are responsive and performant across devices and browsers.
• Maintain and update existing WordPress sites and fix issues promptly.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators and account teams.
• Utilise AI tools to support layout, development and testing when appropriate.
• Manage multiple web tasks and deadlines concurrently.
• Maintain clean, well‑structured code and documentation.
