Job summary

Cavendish Consulting in Southampton is seeking a Midweight Designer to join our creative team. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) with a flexible hybrid working model, offering opportunities to work on diverse client briefs and campaigns.

You will contribute across digital and print projects, develop concepts, and execute with strong typography and craft, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate exploration. A strong portfolio and experience with Adobe Creative Suite are essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and high quality execution.
• Ability to articulate design decisions and challenge briefs when needed.
• Experience in a Creative Agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate briefs into effective visual ideas across digital, print, social and campaign work.
• Develop and deliver concepts with limited supervision.
• Execute work to a high standard of craft, typography and layout.
• Adapt and roll out creative across multiple formats and channels.
• Use AI tools to support ideation, iteration and speed while maintaining brand integrity.
• Support junior designers through informal guidance and example.
