Job summary

RICS is seeking a user-centred UX Designer to shape the future experiences that underpin our Qualifications and Professional Development programmes. You will work under the UX Design Lead, turning research and service design outputs into practical, accessible designs for a global professional body.

This 12-month FTC role is hybrid, based in London or Birmingham with about 60% onsite and 40% remote. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UX Research, Service Design, Product,

Qualifications

• Experience designing user-centred digital experiences including journeys, wireframes and prototypes.
• Strong understanding of UX research methods and applying insights to design decisions.
• Experience creating intuitive, visually consistent interfaces across web and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility, responsive design and usability best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management with ability to present ideas and facilitate workshops.

Responsibilities

• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and interaction concepts.
• Translate research findings and stakeholder insights into clear design solutions.
• Support usability testing, concept evaluation and stakeholder validation.
• Collaborate with Service Design, Product, Business Analysis and Technology to reflect operational requirements.
• Apply accessibility standards and design-system patterns for consistent, inclusive experiences.
• Produce design documentation and participate in workshops, design reviews and sprints.
