Job summary

Jo Holdsworth Recruitment is recruiting a Business Development Manager for a Leeds-based professional services business. You will own UK new business development, building partnerships and a robust pipeline, with a focus on estate agents, brokers and property-sector partners. Hybrid working and significant travel across the UK are expected.

The role is pure new business, covering outbound activities, meetings, and handover to the account management team as relationships mature.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales or a commercially focused role.
• Strong ability to generate new business opportunities and build relationships.
• Comfortable with outbound outreach and meetings with senior decision-makers.
• Experience using CRM to manage pipeline and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
• Build a pipeline of estate agents, brokers and property-sector partners.
• Research prospective clients and identify decision-makers.
• Create and deliver a focused business development strategy.
• Make outbound calls and arrange introductory meetings.
• Attend client meetings, industry events and conferences.
• Present services and secure new partnerships.
• Support new clients through launch and early relationship phases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover.
