Job summary

G MASS, in partnership with a major international bank, is recruiting a Treasury Settlements Analyst for its EMEA Operations team. You will oversee end-to-end settlement of FX and money market trades, ensuring bookings, confirmations and payments align with cut-offs and controls.

Based in a busy treasury operations function, you will interact with clients, trading desks and custodians, develop across the settlements lifecycle, and contribute to process improvements while balancing accuracy with

Qualifications

• Experience in settlements or confirmations within an investment bank.
• Grounding in reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with Microsoft Office.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Well organised and able to juggle deadlines.
• Adaptable with a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Process the end to end settlement of FX and money market transactions, from booking and confirmation through to payment, within agreed timeframes.
• Chase down and clear cash breaks and trade mismatches, working directly with clients, counterparties and custodians to get them fixed quickly.
• Act as a point of contact for queries from internal teams and clients, keeping service levels consistently high.
• Flag control weaknesses or operational risks early and suggest practical ways to tighten them up.
• Deliver regular reporting and periodic checks accurately and to deadline.
• Build knowledge of every function in the team so you can step in where needed, including a share of bank holiday cover.
• Get involved in change projects and efficiency improvements, and work closely with neighbouring operations teams.
