G MASS, partnering with a major international bank, is recruiting a Treasury Settlements Analyst for its EMEA Operations team. You will oversee the settlements lifecycle for FX and money market flows across branches, ensuring trades are matched, confirmed and paid on time.

The role provides exposure to clients, trading desks, custodians and audit, requiring a methodical mindset, composure under pressure, and a drive to broaden responsibilities including change projects and efficiency

Qualifications

• Experience in operations within an investment bank, ideally in settlements or confirmations.
• Good grounding in reconciliations.
• Excellent Excel and Office skills and clear written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end settlement of FX and money market transactions from booking to payment within deadlines.
• Chase cash breaks and trade mismatches with clients, counterparties and custodians.
• Act as a main point of contact for internal teams and clients, maintaining high service levels.
• Flag control weaknesses or operational risks and suggest improvements.
• Deliver regular reporting and checks accurately and on time.
• Build knowledge across the team to cover different functions and bank holiday shifts.
• Participate in change projects and efficiency improvements with nearby operations teams.

G MASS are partnering with a major international bank to hire a Treasury Settlements Analyst into its EMEA Operations team, covering foreign exchange and money market flows for branches across the region.

Sitting within a busy treasury operations function, you will help make sure large, high value trades are matched, confirmed and paid on time, with market cut offs and regulatory obligations driving the pace of the day. The role offers broad exposure across the settlements lifecycle and close contact with clients, trading desks, custodians and audit, making it a strong fit for someone who is methodical, calm under pressure and keen to develop across a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process the end to end settlement of FX and money market transactions, from booking and confirmation through to payment, within agreed timeframes
• Chase down and clear cash breaks and trade mismatches, working directly with clients, counterparties and custodians to get them fixed quickly
• Act as a point of contact for queries from internal teams and clients, keeping service levels consistently high
• Flag control weaknesses or operational risks early and suggest practical ways to tighten them up
• Deliver regular reporting and periodic checks accurately and to deadline
• Build knowledge of every function in the team so you can step in where needed, including a share of bank holiday cover
• Get involved in change projects and efficiency improvements, and work closely with neighbouring operations teams

Requirements

• Operations experience gained within an investment bank, ideally in a settlements or confirmations seat
• A good grounding in reconciliations
• Confident Excel user, comfortable with the wider Office suite, and quick to use technology to solve day to day problemsCommunicates clearly and professionally, both on the phone and in writing
• Well organised, able to juggle competing deadlines, and equally effective working alone or as part of a team
• Adaptable and happy to take on a varied workload
