Vivid Resourcing Ltd. is seeking a Transport Planner to join its Oxford team.

The role involves delivering transport planning services on development-led schemes across Oxfordshire and the South East, coordinating with clients, developers and authorities to support planning applications. The successful candidate will have experience in transport planning consultancy, knowledge of relevant software, and a solid understanding of UK planning policy.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning consultancy environments.
• Background in development-related transport planning.
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Knowledge of traffic modelling and junction capacity software (Junctions 9/10, LinSig).
• Understanding of UK planning policy, highway design standards and sustainable transport principles.
• Strong report-writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and Transport Strategies for planning applications.
• Undertake trip generation, traffic flow analysis and junction capacity assessments.
• Use Junctions 9/10 and LinSig to assess highway capacity and development impacts.
• Assist with technical reports, feasibility studies and planning documentation.
• Assess site accessibility and sustainable transport opportunities.
• Liaise with authorities, developers, architects and planning consultants.
• Support project management, ensuring work is delivered on time and budget.
• Contribute to transport strategies for residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across transport and highways disciplines.
