AutoSkills (United Kingdom) in Nottingham is seeking a reliable Trailer Technician or Trailer Mechanic for a mixed role of workshop and mobile work. This full-time, permanent position offers regular Monday–Friday hours and additional Saturday morning work to boost earnings.

Experience with trailers, servicing and repairs is essential; UK driving licence required. The role combines workshop tasks with on-site mobile duties across a growing team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on trailers.
• Trailer servicing and repair experience.
• Good mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Servicing and maintaining trailers.
• Carrying out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing and rectifying trailer faults.
• Attending mobile trailer breakdowns.
• Carrying out roadside repairs where required.
• Inspecting trailers and identifying defects.
• Preparing trailers for MOT and inspections.
• Completing repair records and paperwork.
• Working safely and maintaining high Health & Safety standards.
• Supporting the wider workshop team when required.
