Job summary

Adecco in Ealing, London, is seeking a Temporary Accommodation Compliance Officer for a 3‑month hybrid role. You will work 35 hours weekly, with 3 days in the office, starting ASAP, to ensure compliance across the accommodation portfolio.

You will manage a portfolio of properties, ensure providers meet contractual and regulatory standards, handle tenancy endings through legal avenues, conduct inspections, and report on compliance to support residents and housing services.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a homelessness and/or housing environment.
• Experience of ending tenancies through the appropriate legal process.
• Experience of managing a portfolio of accommodation.
• Strong organisational and case management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a portfolio of temporary accommodation properties.
• Ensure accommodation providers comply with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Support the management of tenancy issues and the ending of tenancies through the appropriate legal processes.
• Conduct property inspections and monitor accommodation standards.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments, landlords, housing providers and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports on compliance and performance.
• Assist in achieving positive housing outcomes for residents placed in temporary accommodation.
