Wriggle Marketing is expanding its SEO team in Gosforth, Newcastle to hire a Technical SEO Consultant. The role is full-time and hybrid, focused on owning technical SEO tasks across client campaigns and collaborating with developers and content strategists.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of SEO experience, strong knowledge of crawlers, indexing, structured data and Core Web Vitals, and can translate technical concepts for non-technical clients while contributing to ROI-focused reporting.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in an SEO role with solid technical knowledge (crawling, indexation, site structure, structured data, Core Web Vitals)
• Experience using Screaming Frog, GSC, GA to guide your work
• Data Studio is a bonus to support monthly reporting and analysis

Responsabilités

• Own the technical SEO aspect of client strategies with guidance from Head of SEO & Content
• Run technical audits and crawls to identify indexation, crawl budget, site architecture and page speed issues
• Compile clear, prioritised recommendations for clients and developers to action
• Work with developers to implement fixes and verify landing
• Support website migrations and platform changes with deliverables like redirect mappings
• Build understanding of client resources and prioritise deliverables accordingly
• Collaborate with SEO Content Strategist to align SEO & content strategies
• Support monthly reporting to demonstrate ROI and value to clients
• Stay up to date with SEO trends, SERP features and AI developments
• Maintain strong client relationships and regular communication
• Manage accounts day-to-day to ensure improving performance and regular catch-ups
• Coordinate with Head of Paid Search to align SEO with paid campaigns
• Ensure timely delivery of client work across the team
• Keep pace with industry developments and best practices
