Job summary

Engine by Starling in London is seeking an experienced Technical Programme Manager to lead a portfolio of complex, multi‑client programmes within a fast‑paced fintech environment. You will partner with Engineering, Product and Delivery partners to plan, coordinate and deliver strategic initiatives on time and to a high standard.

Ideal candidates have end‑to‑end programme management experience in tech or financial services, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a flexible setting

Qualifications

• End-to-end Project or Programme Management experience, ideally within a technology or financial services environment.
• Proven experience working directly with Engineering and Product teams to deliver complex technical solutions.
• Hands-on and adaptable approach to programme delivery in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and coordination of a technical programme across multiple complex projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads to support SDLC, dependencies, and planning.
• Maintain real-time understanding of client needs against internal capacity and risks.
• Own relationships with external vendors and payment schemes and ensure high service standards.
