Job summary

HelloKindred in Sheffield is seeking a Strategy Lead to shape and govern the technology infrastructure strategy for a large enterprise. You will drive resilience, modernisation, service quality, and risk management with senior stakeholders.

You will translate strategic priorities into actionable transformation plans, manage portfolio delivery, and oversee investment and workforce planning across a complex infrastructure organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategy, transformation, portfolio execution, or technology business management.
• Background in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Understanding of core technology infrastructure domains: compute, storage, cloud, and hybrid operating models.
• Ability to influence outcomes and drive execution within large, matrixed organisations.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with data-driven prioritisation and risk management.
• Experience supporting senior leadership with operating cadence, portfolio tracking, and budget oversight.
• Ability to translate enterprise strategy into actionable transformation roadmaps and delivery priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual and multi-year strategy cycle for technology infrastructure, defining vision and roadmaps.
• Translate group tech and business strategies into actionable infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Produce executive materials: strategy packs, papers, governance documents, leadership presentations.
• Manage leadership team's operating cadence: reviews, deep-dives, governance forums.
• Track delivery of priorities across the portfolio; manage dependencies and risks.
• Support investment planning, budget management, and spend transparency with senior leaders.
• Assist workforce planning and capacity/resource allocation decisions.
• Drive productivity improvements and simplification across processes and tooling.
• Build trusted relationships across CTO, COO, procurement, and CIO teams.
