Asda Stores Ltd invites you to join our Tea category as a commercially driven Trader. You will engage with leading suppliers, shape the category strategy and deliver value to customers through innovative ranges and competitive campaigns.

You’ll manage day-to-day trading activity, negotiate pricing and promotional investment, and translate insights into growth opportunities across the portfolio. This is a permanent, full-time role based in the UK with hybrid working options and a strong benefits

Formación

• Experience in a commercial trading, buying, category management, or FMCG role.
• Strong commercial awareness with a passion for delivering results.
• Excellent analytical skills and confidence using data to support decision-making.
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build supplier relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Support development and delivery of the category strategy with strong commercial performance.
• Manage day-to-day trading activity to drive sales, profit and market share growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with key supplier partners and negotiate pricing and promotions.
• Analyse customer, market and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Support category plans, range reviews and product launches, monitor promotions and campaigns.
