Job summary

Anglian Water in Ipswich is seeking a permanent, full-time Systems Solutions Developer to support investment decisions through costed options and risk/value assessments. You will lead rolling development activities, collaborate with finance, operations and alliance partners, and contribute to TOTEX processes while promoting sustainable solutions and environmental impact.

Qualifications

Experience in cost estimating, investment planning or business case development.
Knowledge of risk and value assessment techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong IT skills including Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office.
A collaborative approach and curiosity to improve ways of working.

Responsibilities

Leading investigations into operational and business risks and identifying long-term solutions.
Developing costed solution options and conceptual designs to support investment decisions.
Managing a rolling programme of solution development activities.
Supporting the TOTEX investment process, balancing costs, risks and benefits.
Facilitating Risk, Opportunity and Value assessments.
Collaborating with operational teams, finance, commercial colleagues and alliance partners.
Supporting future business planning and investment strategies.
