Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Systems Solutions Developer to analyse complex challenges, influence major investment decisions and create sustainable solutions for millions of customers. The role supports TOTEX processes, works with finance and alliance partners, and drives investment strategies across Anglian Water's regional operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and IT proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

Experience in cost estimating, investment planning or business case development.
Knowledge of risk and value assessment techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong IT skills including Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office.
A collaborative approach and curiosity to improve ways of working.

Responsibilities

Leading investigations into operational and business risks and identifying long-term solutions.
Developing costed solution options and conceptual designs to support investment decisions.
Managing a rolling programme of solution development activities.
Supporting the TOTEX investment process, balancing costs, risks and benefits.
Facilitating Risk, Opportunity and Value assessments.
Collaborating with operational teams, finance, commercial colleagues and alliance partners.
Supporting future business planning and investment strategies.
