Anglian Water is seeking a Systems Solutions Developer to lead investigations into operational and business risks and develop long-term, costed solution options to support investment decisions.

The role involves managing a rolling programme of solution development, supporting TOTEX processes, and collaborating with finance, operations and alliance partners across the region. Hybrid working with travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimating, investment planning or business case development.
• Knowledge of risk and value assessment techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills including Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office.
• A collaborative approach and curiosity to improve ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into operational and business risks and identify long-term solutions.
• Develop costed solution options and conceptual designs to support investment decisions.
• Manage a rolling programme of solution development activities.
• Support the TOTEX investment process, balancing costs, risks and benefits.
• Facilitate Risk, Opportunity and Value assessments.
• Collaborate with operational teams, finance, commercial colleagues and alliance partners.
• Support future business planning and investment strategies.
