Job summary

Cabot Learning Federation is seeking a proactive Systems Developer to join its central IT team. The role focuses on developing, maintaining and supporting integrations across key systems, enabling secure data flows and improved operations across the federation.

You will work with APIs, SQL, Python and PowerShell to implement automation, with opportunities to contribute to bespoke apps and data pipelines for school sites and central services.

Qualifications

• IT or Computing qualifications at Level 3 or above, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with information systems, databases and integrations.
• Knowledge of APIs, SQL, Python, PowerShell and related automation tech.
• Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID and Intune.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• A proactive, adaptable and organised approach in fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting education through technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support integrations between core information systems.
• Collaborate with IT Operations and Data teams on data flows and pipelines.
• Create bespoke applications, scripts and automation to streamline operations.
• Investigate technical challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Support data integration into Microsoft Fabric for trust-wide reporting.
