Job summary

Children First in Edinburgh is seeking a Support Manager for the Safeguarders Panel Team. The role is a fixed-term, full-time post (35 hours) with a salary of £37,189–£42,687 per year, offering hybrid work and potential part-time arrangements.

Primary duties include supervising Safeguarders, coordinating multi-agency partnerships, and delivering training and communications across Scotland. Based from home with opportunities to work from Edinburgh/Glasgow offices, you will support the

• Experience of supporting and supervising staff/volunteers.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Safeguarders and monitor practice against standards.
• Liaise with partner agencies and respond to queries.
• Attend CHIPS and multi-agency meetings in Scotland.
• Plan and facilitate support sessions one-to-one or in groups.
• Contribute to recruitment, induction, training, and communications.
