Job summary

Arco: Experts In Safety is hiring a Supply Planner to manage supply planning for our Industrial Hose Division. You will balance customer demand with inventory targets, collaborate with Sales, Operations and Suppliers, and improve product availability across UK, Europe and beyond.

You’ll own rolling forecasts, maintain BOMs and SAP data, and drive supplier performance while navigating a fast-moving environment. This hybrid role combines onsite and home working from Hessle.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management or supply chain roles desirable but not essential.
• Good working knowledge of SAP stock control and production planning systems.
• Strong numerical and data interpretation skills with commercial insight.

Responsibilities

• Optimising stock availability and inventory levels while balancing customer service with budget targets.
• Developing and maintaining rolling supplier forecasts considering demand, lead times and capacity.
• Building supplier relationships and driving improvements in performance and reliability.
• Collaborating with Sales, Operations and Warehouse to resolve supply and demand challenges.
• Maintaining Bills of Materials, SAP data and product information in the PIM system.
• Managing bespoke customer orders from sourcing to shipping and logistics.
• Analysing supplier costs and price changes, challenging increases where appropriate.
