Cathedral Appointments is recruiting on behalf of well-established manufacturing, food and drink, and distribution businesses in and around Exeter for experienced Supply Chain Planners. This role balances demand, production capacity and stock to ensure on-time delivery while managing cash flow.

The successful candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience with ERP/MRP systems and a collaborative approach across sales, purchasing and operations. Hybrid working with flexibility is available.

Formación

• Experience in demand, supply, inventory or production planning.
• Strong Excel skills and experience of an ERP or MRP system.
• Analytical approach with ability to turn data into recommendations.
• Good communication and cross-department relationship skills.
• Well organised and calm when priorities change.
• CIPS or ASCM (APICS) study welcome but not essential.
• Hybrid working with flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain demand forecasts using sales history, market insight and customer input
• Set and manage inventory levels to meet service targets while keeping stockholding under control
• Translate forecasts into purchasing and production plans, working closely with suppliers and operations
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as forecast accuracy, stock cover and on-time delivery
• Spot supply risks early and work with colleagues to resolve shortages or excess stock
• Contribute to S&OP meetings and the continuous improvement of planning processes
