Job summary

Morson Talent is recruiting a Supply Officer for a leading aerospace and manufacturing organisation based near Broughton. The role blends office collaboration with remote working in a hybrid arrangement.

You will manage supplier performance, demand planning and inventory using SAP and MRP to keep the supply chain flowing. A proactive, data-driven approach and strong stakeholder liaison are essential, with security clearance (BPSS) required before starting.

Qualifications

• Strong supply chain or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using SAP and MRP systems.
• Supplier management and performance improvement experience.
• Analytical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers and monitor supply chain performance.
• Drive supplier performance improvements and lead recovery activities.
• Anticipate supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Manage demand and forecast activities to support operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate order books and MRP master data.
• Utilise SAP and digital tools to support planning and decision-making.
• Prioritise supply chain activities to meet production requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement, quality and operational stakeholders.
• Act as the first point of contact for supply chain queries.
• Monitor and optimise inventory levels and procured stock.
• Support continuous improvement, digitalisation and transformation initiatives.
• Participate in supplier meetings and cross-functional groups.
