Job summary

Babcock in Andover is seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Lead to help design and deliver the future operating model for a major defence programme. This role combines strategic insight with hands-on delivery, working across teams to optimise warehousing, inventories and supplier networks while aligning processes, people and systems.

The role is full time with hybrid working, 37 hours per week. You will engage with stakeholders, build capability roadmaps and establish partnerships to improve

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Through-Life Support and Integrated Logistics Support methodologies.
• Relevant professional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or supportability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Designing and managing complex supply chain and logistics solutions, including warehousing, distribution, inventory and supplier networks.
• Forecasting demand, optimizing inventory, and readiness-based stocking strategies.
• Experience in defence, government, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
• Delivering solutions in complex programme environments with broad stakeholder engagement.
• Communicate effectively to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
