McLarens in London is seeking a Building Surveyor/Engineer with Chartered status to join the Subsidence Practice. You will travel across North/West London and surrounding counties performing site visits and fully managing a portfolio of subsidence losses from notification to closure.

The role emphasizes technical diagnosis, policy application, and collaboration with brokers, insureds, and specialists. A strong focus on quality, communication, and client relationships is essential.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Professionally qualified with loss adjusting and surveying/subsidence experience.
• Detailed understanding of subsidence, building defects, and repair techniques.
• Strong communication, empathy and organisational skills.
• Negotiation and stakeholder management experience.
• Proficient IT skills.

Responsabilidades

• Undertaking site visits and project manage subsidence losses from notification to conclusion.
• Liaising with insured, insurers and brokers for timely settlement.
• Producing technical reports in line with standards and timelines.
• Engaging specialists and overseeing fulfilment of claims.
• Contributing to business development and networking for growth.
