Checkout.com in London is launching a Finance Analytics Graduate Programme. You’ll gain hands-on experience in digital payments analytics, working with data engineering/science teams and leaders across Finance.

The programme includes technical training, professional development workshops, mentoring, and networking. It’s designed to accelerate growth and potential for a permanent role within Checkout.com.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort with numbers; ability to draw insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adjust style for different audiences.
• Commercial curiosity to understand merchant, product and financial dynamics.
• Willingness to learn data tooling; Python and SQL experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail; validate data and communicate limitations clearly.
• Payments or financial knowledge is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyse commercial and business performance to identify value creation.
• Leverage AI tooling to build and automate analytical workflows and insights from data.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science to support core financial data models and AI-ready context layers.
• Craft executive-style deliverables: decks, models, documents, or AI-powered apps.
• Translate ambiguous leadership requests into clear, decision-ready insights.
• Drive continuous reporting improvements, standardisation and simplification; document definitions and limitations.
• Work with Finance and Data partners to scope requirements and support key initiatives.
