Checkout.com in London is launching its #NextGen Graduate Program. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gain hands‑on experience in digital payments, and receive technical training, workshops, and direct access to industry experts.

You’ll be part of a global Early Careers community with mentoring opportunities and regular networking events, designed to build connections and accelerate your growth and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Go) and understanding of core software engineering principles.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with or openness to working in agile environments and delivering high‑quality code on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable systems in a microservices architecture.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code for Checkout’s platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, to solve real-world business challenges.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and share knowledge across the engineering community.
• Operate and own the resilience and performance of the systems you develop.
• Mentor and support peers while growing your own technical expertise.
