Daniel Owen Ltd in London is seeking a Steelwork Project Manager to oversee structural steelwork and architectural metalwork packages from design through to completion. The role blends site-based duties across London with office work from London Colney, offering a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Management, Site Management or similar leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of the structural steelwork industry.
• Trade, engineering or construction management background.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project planning.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project administration systems.

Responsabilités

• Managing structural steelwork projects from design development to completion.
• Coordinating design information through RIBA Stages 3-5.
• Attending Design Team Meetings and coordinating comments between design teams and detailers.
• Preparing project quality documentation including ITPs, QAPs, QA records and O&M manuals.
• Producing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractor packages.
• Managing fabrication schedules and delivery programmes.
• Monitoring project progress, budgets and programme performance.
• Identifying and managing contract variations.
• Supporting commercial activities including valuations and cost tracking.
• Leading client, subcontractor and progress meetings.
• Managing quality processes and NCR close-out procedures.
• Producing project handover documentation and overseeing the defects period.
• Maintaining excellent client and stakeholder relationships throughout project delivery.
