Job summary

Suffolk County Council is seeking a Specialist Provision Manager in the Provider Services Team to oversee contract management for specialist education across further education providers. You will collaborate with providers, colleagues and partners to ensure provision meets high standards for Suffolk's young people, including regular reviews and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
• Ability to analyse information, identify trends and solve problems.
• Strong planning skills and ability to manage projects or day-to-day processes.
• Well-developed communication skills with professional stakeholders.
• Experience in leading meetings and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular provider review meetings and build positive relationships with FE providers.
• Work with the Funding Hub to ensure commissioned numbers are accurate and funding is used appropriately and monitor services for viability, risk quality and delivery.
• Help provision adapt to changing needs of Suffolk's post-16 FE pupils.
• Provide complex information to colleagues and partners and share updates on developments.
• Support changes to policy, procedures, monitoring and recording practices with senior colleagues.
