Job summary

NHS Supply Chain is recruiting a SP Controller on a fixed-term 6‑month contract. The role combines on-site and remote work with an expectation of two days per week at the Alfreton office. The starting salary is £32,741, with potential increases to £36,379 over three years and a closing date of 15 October 2026.

You will manage supplier groups to ensure uninterrupted NHS stock, meet KPIs, engage stakeholders, and analyse data to forecast supply horizons and performance.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain software (LMS/SCMS).
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to collect, analyse and report inventory/order data.

Responsibilities

• Execute planning activities within a defined framework/system.
• Investigate incidents with suppliers and actions to enable services.
• Manage inventory for a site or factory with guidance.
• Carry out inventory-control activities using existing procedures.
