Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a senior Solution Architect leader to drive end-to-end design across business, data, integration, security and operations. You will lead a global architecture team, align designs with enterprise roadmaps, and champion governance and transparency in decision making.

You will influence senior stakeholders, promote reuse and simplification, and guide strategic investments including Aladdin integrations and data flows. Hybrid working is supported.

Qualifications

• Significant architecture leadership in a complex, regulated global organisation (investment management or financial services preferred).
• Proven ability to lead and develop architecture teams and foster a high-performance community.
• Deep understanding of investment-management capabilities, data and technology platforms.
• Proven accountability for end-to-end solution design across business, data, integration, applications, security and operations.
• Experience defining and operating proportionate, transparent architecture governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Solution Architecture team with objective setting and performance support.
• Own and improve the solution architecture operating model, engagement approach, quality bar and measures.
• Ensure end-to-end solution designs align with enterprise target architectures and roadmaps.
• Establish governance, address risks and trade-offs, and drive efficient decision making.
• Influence senior stakeholders and align across product, engineering, data, security, operations and delivery.
