Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Solution Architect to shape the technical solutions for submarine fleet maintenance, collaborating with government clients, programme partners and design teams to deliver secure and scalable outcomes.

You will join our growing architectural team within the Digital Solutions business unit, contributing to a portfolio of medium to enterprise-scale projects with a clear hybrid working pattern and opportunities to grow skills in line with evolving defence

Qualifications

Proven experience in technical architecture and solution design.
Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong understanding of security principles and governance.
Experience delivering complex systems integration.

Responsibilities

Scope functional and non functional requirements and translate them into high level solution designs.
Define system components, integration points and data flows using modern technologies and platforms.
Present and communicate solution designs to stakeholders through workshops, proposals and visual storyboarding.
Lead technical delivery, resolving complex issues, managing risks and working with software partners to achieve successful deployment.
Ensure solutions align with architectural strategies and standards, selecting appropriate technologies and vendors to meet programme needs.
