Job summary

Kent County Council is looking for an Experienced Practitioner/Social Worker for a permanent, full-time position based in Thanet. The role operates on a hybrid model, combining office-based work and home working to meet service needs.

You will deliver Care Act, MCA and safeguarding duties, working with adults with diverse care needs and collaborating across teams to place individuals at the center of personalised support.

Qualifications

• Registered social worker with Social Work England.
• Experience with Care Act Assessments, MCA, Court of Protection and S42 safeguarding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Care Act Assessments, MCA assessments and Court of Protection applications.
• Conduct s42 safeguarding enquiries.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support adults with care needs.
