Job summary

Powys County Council is seeking a Social Worker to join the Care and Support Team in North Powys. The role focuses on high-quality assessment, care planning and intervention for individuals and families in need of support.

Working in a multidisciplinary framework, you will promote independence, safety and well-being across the region, with hybrid working: 2 days at Ladywell House, Newtown, and 3 days remote. An SCW or SWE registration with in-progress evidence is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a Degree or Diploma in Social Work (BSc, MA, DipSW or equivalent).
• Registered with SCW or SWE with evidence of in-progress SCW application.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality assessment, care planning and intervention for individuals and families.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to promote independence, safety and well-being.
• Adhere to hybrid working pattern with 2 fixed office days at Ladywell House, Newtown.
