Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Social Worker to join the East Learning Disability Partnership in a permanent, part-time role (23 hours) based at Noble House in Ely.

The team operates a hybrid model with an induction period and up to three days in the office weekly, fostering reflection, collaboration and wellbeing.

The post includes a wellbeing package, development opportunities and a Refer a Friend scheme; you will assess, plan and safeguard adults with care needs.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration.
• Able to work from multiple locations and travel countywide independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking Social Care and Mental Capacity Act assessments.
• Completing Safeguarding and care and support planning to improve outcomes for adults we support.
• Collaborating with service users, carers and multi-disciplinary teams to establish needs and plan support.
