Job summary

Evelyn Partners in Liverpool is seeking a Security Operations Specialist for a 12-month FTC to join the Security Operations Centre. You will provide second and third line review, analysis and incident response for security events and incidents reported to the SOC, helping external partners with monitoring and relevant rulesets.

You will build relationships with Technology Services stakeholders to improve operational security and guide end users on best practices across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC).
• 3+ years in security operations or technical security roles.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response and detection engineering.
• Familiarity with IAM, DLP and SIEM tooling; Azure/365 security exposure.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated security incidents within defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with third party security vendors for monitoring and triage.
• Analyze reports to identify trends and drive secure behaviors.
• Act as SME in the Cyber Incident Response team.
• Maintain phishing campaigns, reporting and remediation management.
• Oversee security tooling stack and ensure policy compliance.
